How it works

## Home hears about the gate.

Gate alerts read the QR scans at the school gate. Here is how one goes out.

### After a scan

- **Choose how much.** Off, late and early leaving only, or every arrival and departure.

- **The child is scanned,** late at 8:20, or leaving at 11:40.

- **The email goes,** to the primary guardian, in your school’s name.

- **Once each way.** One arrival email and one leaving email a day, however many scans. An early leave is always sent.

### Off until you say so

Alerts start switched off. Turn them on once your gate scans every morning.
