Every part of Scoolin reads the same record. Here is how a school moves in, from the Excel sheet it already has.

### Moving your school in

- **Download your template.** An Excel sheet with your own classes and fields as dropdowns.

- **Fill it the way you already do.** “VI-B” and “KG-1” are read as classes; phone numbers get +91.

- **Bring it in.** Up to 5,000 students at once, siblings linked by phone. Changed your mind? Undo the whole import.

- **Open any record.** Fees due, attendance, marks, behaviour, library and siblings, on one page.

### Indian IDs, done properly

Aadhaar is checked for a wrong digit and shown masked. APAAR (with consent), PEN, RTE, BPL and CWSN each have their own place.

### Your own fields

Add up to 30 fields of your own, in seven types. Mark one office-only and teachers never see it.

### Every change can be undone

Changes from the last 90 days are kept with who made them, and can be put back. When a child leaves, the [TC](https://scoolin.com/features/certificates) is issued from the same record.

### Moving in

### How do we bring our students in?

Fill the Excel template Scoolin makes for your school, and bring it in yourself. We can sit with you on a call for the first one.

### Access

### Who sees a child’s phone numbers or medical notes?

Only the roles that need them. Contact, medical and personal details are kept apart, and the server leaves out what a role can’t see.

### Parents

### Can parents see the record?

Not yet. Parent logins are coming. Today the record is for your staff.

### Export

### Can we take our data out?

Yes. Export any list of students as a spreadsheet, any time. It is your school’s data.
