How it works

## The gate register, made readable.

Every visit is one line, with the time in and out. Here is one.

### At the front gate

- **Note the visitor.** Name, mobile, who they are (parent, vendor, inspector) and why they came.

- **Print the pass.** Numbered for the session, with a QR that is good till the end of the day.

- **Scan it on the way out.** One scan checks them out. A second says already used.

- **Look back any day.** Search by name, mobile, vehicle or the person they met, and export.

### Overstays stand out

Anyone still on campus after two and a half hours is flagged. Inspectors are left alone.

### Nothing on the slip to misuse

Only the last four digits of an ID are kept, and a photo of the pass tells a stranger nothing about the visitor.

### Slips are easy to fix

Undo a check-out, check everyone out at closing time, or correct an arrival time.

### Can someone be checked in twice?

No. A second check-in for a visitor still on campus is refused.
