Book a free demoIs Scoolin cheaper than Fedena?
It depends on your school’s size. Fedena’s plans are ₹50,000, ₹75,000 or ₹1,00,000 a year plus GST, whatever the number of students[1]. Scoolin is free up to 100 students, then ₹5 a student a month, ₹3 above 500, and 30% less if you pay yearly. A month’s bill is the highest number of students on the rolls at any point in it, suspended ones included, plus GST where it applies. Work out a year’s total for your own number of students on both.
Can we move from Fedena to Scoolin?
Yes. Export your data before you cancel: Fedena’s terms say your content is deleted as soon as an account is cancelled[2]. Send it to us in Excel; we bring it in and check it with your office, at no extra cost.
Is Fedena open source?
Its core modules are free and open source, and you can host them on your own server[7]. Scoolin isn’t open source; we run it for you.
Which one can we try for free?
Fedena offers a 14-day free trial[1]. Scoolin has no time limit: it’s free for schools with up to 100 students. A bigger school can book a free demo to see it with its own classes.
Do both have apps for parents?
Fedena does: apps for parents, teachers and students in your school’s brand[3]. Scoolin doesn’t have phone apps yet: it works in any phone’s browser, and apps for parents and teachers are coming.
How did you check Fedena’s details?
We read Fedena’s own website on 11 Oct 2026: its pricing page, terms, privacy policy, FAQ, feature tour and home page (see the sources above). Where it says nothing, we say so. If something is out of date, tell us.
