Gate alerts

An email home on late arrival or early leave. At most one each way a day, so it never turns into noise.

How it works

Home hears about the gate.

Gate alerts read the QR scans at the school gate. Here is how one goes out.

After a scan

  1. Choose how much. Off, late and early leaving only, or every arrival and departure.
  2. The child is scanned, late at 8:20, or leaving at 11:40.
  3. The email goes, to the primary guardian, in your school’s name.
  4. Once each way. One arrival email and one leaving email a day, however many scans. An early leave is always sent.

Off until you say so

Alerts start switched off. Turn them on once your gate scans every morning.

It starts at the gate

Alerts come from scans at the gate, so the gate has to scan. See QR attendance.

Absent alerts are next

An alert when a teacher marks a child absent, by WhatsApp and SMS, is coming. See SMS and WhatsApp.
