ID cards

Photo, QR and a whole class at once. The same card marks attendance at the gate and borrows books from the library.

How it works

A class’s cards in one print.

The cards read the records you already have. Here is a batch, start to finish.

In the office

  1. Pick a layout. Band, Classic or Minimal, upright or sideways, one side or two.
  2. Bring in the photos. One zip file of a class’s photos, each named by admission number.
  3. See who is missing. Children without a photo are counted, and their card prints initials.
  4. Print. On A4 to cut, or on your PVC card printer, at the standard 85.6 × 54 mm.

The QR tells the truth

Scan it and it says valid, lost, left the school or expired. A card stops working when the session ends or the child leaves.

One card, three jobs

The same QR marks attendance at the gate with QR attendance and issues books at the library desk.

Lost cards

Mark a card lost and it stops working. The new one is the next copy, and the office hears if the old one turns up at the gate.

Staff

Can we print staff ID cards too?

Yes, from staff records. Staff photos are added one at a time for now.

Printing

Do we need a special printer?

No. Print on A4 with any printer and cut, or use a PVC card printer if you have one.

Changes

What if a child changes section after printing?

The card is marked as needing a reprint, so the office knows which ones to print again.

Free

Can we try it without signing up?

The free ID card maker on this site prints cards from what you type.
